As part of its continued efforts to provide exceptional services and address community needs through programs and activities that promote interaction, participation, and volunteering opportunities, as well as contribute to the development of refugee and host communities, and inaugurated its new office in Luweero District, Bombo area, Uganda, SCRSDO Organization held an awareness and legal education workshop in partnership with NRC, on Monday , January 13, 2025.
During the workshop, discussions were held with the refugee and host communities about the challenges they face in Bombo.
Refugees highlighted several challenges, including language barriers, integration with the host community, and the necessity of finding job opportunities. Representatives of both organizations called to cooperate and work towards finding immediate solutions to these pressing issues.
The new office in Bombo operates from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and remains closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
