Leadership Training Program Dedicated to Qualifying Leading Figures in Civil Society work

In the context of ongoing efforts to enhance the role of individual and community responsibility and effective participation in community development, a training program dedicated to qualifying leading figures in civil society work was launched yesterday, Monday, July 7, 2025, at the main office of the SCRSDO Organization in Kawempe. The program aims to develop leadership skills and enhance the organizational capacities of participants, contributing to their role in serving the community.

The program includes a group of emerging leaders from various non-governmental organizations and community initiatives. The training features interactive workshops, theoretical lessons, and case studies that address best practices in civil work. Additionally, the program focuses on enhancing communication skills, project management, strategic planning, and understanding the concept of human rights.

In his opening speech, Mr. Saad al-Din Abdul Majid Elias, the executive director of the organization, emphasized the importance of developing leadership in civil work, stating that “effective leadership is the key to success in achieving developmental goals, and we all must work together to build a more sustainable and prosperous community.”

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas about the challenges facing civil work and how to overcome them. This training is expected to enhance participants’ capabilities and empower them to lead innovative initiatives that benefit their communities. This program is part of a series of initiatives aimed at supporting civil work and enhancing individual and community participation.
